Baron Hill (D) has just released a new hard-hiting ad against "Millionare Mike" Sodrel (R) here in IN-09.
Instead of scary music, this one just makes you laugh.
Millionare Mike

Let the campaign know what you think in the comments.
Sodrel inherited a big trucking company based out of Indianapolis. So he drives around IN-09 in a big rig with "Sodrel for Congress" on the side.
Baron will soon have another positive ad to hit the airwaves soon where he speaks directly to his former constituents and highlights the themes of his campaign.
Baron just recieved the endorsement of the Louisville Courier-Journal (an excellent editorial piece on the race as a whole) in which they state about Baron:
Like most Democratic candidates nationally, Mr. Hill argues that the federal government has made serious errors under Republican stewardship.
Although he voted for the resolution authorizing the war in Iraq (he believes he was lied to about the threat posed by Iraq), Mr. Hill feels the war has been managed badly. He says the presence of American troops in Iraq should be used as leverage to pressure Iraqi leaders to strengthen their army and police and allow U.S. forces to withdraw.
Mr. Hill takes generally progressive positions on a range of domestic issues.
At the outset of the Bush administration, he favored using some of the budget surplus for tax cuts, along with bolstering Social Security and paying down the national debt. Now that the surpluses have drowned in a sea of red ink, however, he backs restoration of some higher tax rates (such as the top marginal rate on income taxes) paid by the richest Americans.
He also favors an aggressive fight for energy independence, not only by promoting use of ethanol -- a political no-brainer in corn-producing farm states such as Indiana -- but also by providing incentives and tax credits for bio-diesel fuel, wind energy and hybrid vehicles.
I'm working hard to put Baron back in Congress.
If you can, help Baron pay for the final push.
