One of Virginia's fine newspapers, The Roanoke Times, called out O'Reilly in his fake war on Christmas.
Roanoke Times
When it comes to persecution, Christians have come a long way from being fed to the lions, my friends.
All this "War on Christmas" nonsense was manufactured in 2004 by that sanctimonious hypocrite Bill O'Reilly to bump up ratings -- and maybe distract attention from that whole unfortunate sexual harassment/phone sex episode.
Poor thin skinned Bill didn't take too well to this. He is calling for a boycott of the paper and its parent companies.
Not exactly a Selma, Alabama '60s fight for social justice, but then again this is O'Reilly that we're talking about. Bill's fragile ego needs all the help it can get.
O'REILLY: . . . And then levels personal attacks against me and others for believing it is wrong to prevent people -- to prevent people from saying "Merry Christmas."
Radmacher's column was disgraceful, and upon researching this loon, we found he uses personal attacks all the time. So we called his publisher, Wendy Zomparelli, but she's hiding under the desk.
Ah yes, "as we researched this loon, we found he uses personal attacks all the time".
Hmmm . . .
Well, at least no one can accuse Radmacher of calling the kettle black.
