The Amy Goodman interview of General Clark from Tuesday night at the 92st Y in NYC is now available on Democracy Now!

Democracy Now! chose the title Gen. Wesley Clark Weighs Presidential Bid: "I Think About It Everyday", which is interesting. There's so much more in this interview, though.
I was there Tuesday night. The video out there is editted down a bit, but given that Tuesday I was in row K and this is close up, I'd say this video is better than "live."
Of course, General Clark spelled out www.stopIranWar.com. (Don't forget to sign the petition!)
Ms. Goodman and General Clark actually seemed to get along well, which I wasn't expecting.
They editted out most of the talk about the "Great Generals" book series of which General Clark is an editor. That's too bad because it's interesting to see Wes talk about things other than current events.
But, still, I think he comes off as very personable in this video. Those of you who've called him "stiff," I hope you'll take the opportunity to watch this. Amy and Wes seem to have a nice rapport.
The interview drags a little in the middle, but it's worth waiting til the end. At the end, Amy asks a gotcha question about Kosovo. (We all knew it was coming.) At first, I think, Wes sounded a little callous, but keep listening. He talks about civilian deaths in war and why that's why we shouldn't go to war unless there's absolutely no other way. You can tell he's a little uncomfortable talking about it, yet, I think he comes off as totally real.
I think Amy Goodman and Democracy Now! did a good job with this video. They could have cherry-picked it to make Wes look bad and they didn't. All in all, I think it shows a very good picture of General Clark.
It's nearly an hour long, but it's well worth watching:
