BushCo seems to love Friday afternoons to dump embarrassing news in hopes (usually misplaced) that it will be lost to public view. Actually, it's a long Washington tradition, but it's become so predictable under BushCo that people actually EXPECT the Friday afternoon news dump - thus defeating its purpose, presumably, but it still happens.
We've got a wide variety of possible Friday afternoon news dumps to select from today. My top three guesses:
- Attorney General Alberto "Abu" Gonzales resigns.
- More e-mails are missing from the White House and/or RNC?
- Paul Wolfowitz resigns in disgrace from the World Bank.
Or am I missing something else? Appointing Don Imus to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights? Dubya learning to pronounce the word "nuclear"? (Nah, that'll never happen!)
So what do you think the dump will be? Vote below!
