'Partial rights for women'
There you go.
It's a good frame. It tells the truth. And not only does it match each and every syllable of their partial truth slogan, it also ends in the letter 'n'.
I, for one, refuse to repeat their label for the medical procedure (which is only really used to save a woman's life), but I have no problem throwing this one right back in their faces.
And the facts are that's what the anti-choice, women's rights stealing, in-the-name-of-Jesus-invoking religious charlatans want- to take away the rights of women, and make themselves feel good about their own miserable selves.
Women, be advised- you have only partial rights. Your body is not your own. Your health needs are not determined by you or your doctor- the Supreme Court has now decided for you. It's official- you now have less rights than men. And fear not, Justice Kennedy is certain that you do not have these rights, because, he claims, there is "medical uncertainty" that the procedure is necessary for your health.
Worse, the oh-so-brilliant Kennedy shrugs off any possible conflict with medical opinion in the matter, by suggesting that a doubting would-be-mom and her doctor 'could assert an individual need for a health exception by going to court to challenge the law as it applied to them' .
Right.
As if that's convenient to emergency medical procedures and schedules and critical time frames. But hey- as you now know ladies, you only have "partial rights", and apparently the right to life (your life) isn't one of them.
So, as a start to fighting this madness, we can begin defending our rights, and keep them from stealing the language, and shove this phrase right back at them.
Saving babies? What babies?
Pregnant? It's none of their business.
Now... let's use what rights we have left, and go get 'em.
