Over the last two days VolvoDrivingLiberal has encouraged the daily Kos community to contact companies that advertise on Ann Coulter's. Although I believe our efforts are better served developing a stronger grassroots system to ensure the election of Democrats to office, I recognized that it only takes moments to contact an advertiser for what truly is a worthy cause, so as an Allstate policy holder I emailed the company via the link provided by VolvoDrivingLiberal.
My email: As a long time policy holder, I have been quite pleased with Allstate. I do have an observation and a suggestion about your continued advertising on a website that often spews hatred and divisiveness; anncoulter.com.
I would ask that your staff review that site so that an informed decision regarding continued advertisement there could be made.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
First response: Dear alasmoses):

I just received this last response five minutes ago:
Dear (alasmoses):
Thank you again for your recent request on Allstate.com. We believe that everyone deserves an individual response, and we value the feedback we receive from our customers. Therefore, we would like to take this opportunity to respond to your email.
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We appreciate your concern regarding our advertising appearing on the website www.anncoulter.com. Unfortunately, the nature of internet media buys is such that we are not always able to receive full disclosure with regards to all of the websites on which our advertising may run. We do, however, make every effort to ensure that our online media buys exclude sites that contain offensive material or political content; regrettably, the site www.anncoulter.com was not excluded from one of our network buys in this instance. We have now asked that all banner advertisements for Allstate be pulled from that site immediately.
Again, we truly value your feedback and appreciate the concerns you raised with regards to our online advertising. We continually take our consumers' thoughts into consideration as we evaluate our online media plan, and we hope to avoid issues such as this one in the future. Thank you again for bringing this matter to our attention.
Sincerely,
Donna Long
