From the Rep. Kuhl Town Hall Meeting Invitation:
These are not debates, but information-gathering sessions that are key to the legislative process and thus important to me as your congressman
Hopefully you'll be able to spare some time to attend one of the meetings...
A gentleman attended the Pittsford Town Hall meeting on Friday May 4th and passionately expressed his viewpoint on bringing the troops from Iraq immediately.
Never have I viewed a more poignant moment at a town hall meeting.
As if time was now motionless.
With no half-handed or canned comments, Congressman Kuhl became spell bounded while the crowd toned down their jubilation to hear the constituents' eloquent words flow naturally till completion.
WW II Vet asks Rep. Kuhl to 'Listen'
Would Congressman Kuhl listen to a veteran and constituents of his district who said exactly on many people's minds?
History dictates Congressman Randy Kuhl votes consistently against the best interest of NY-29.
Not just on returning our sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, and friends from Iraq but also:
-providing mandatory funding of healthcare
-anticipating greater quantity and quality of services for returning soldiers with post traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury,
-adequate shelter for homeless veterans, storage and filing of military records
-preparing veterans for a transition after military service.
Will Congressman Kuhl ‘listen’ to the constituents he serves in NY-29 or President George Bush?
The answer is clearly no.
The choice might not be clear in DC at the moment, but it is in NY-29.
From the Southern-Tier to the Finger Lakes to Monroe County, the grassroots is beginning to rally behind Eric Massa, who will represent veterans and his constituents with his passion and vigor to get the job done.
