Kossack amsterdam , posting in Russ feingold's diary on the party collapse in regards to the Iraq funding bill has the perfect idea to channel our rage :
Maybe the netroots (22+ / 0-)
should organize a close down of financial support until they are listening.
A well organized action across the netroots for a day or two may very well attract their attention.

I'm down with that. How about you?
We've all collectively sacrificed a LOT to get things where they are now. Many of us are seething with betrayal. Others, a tad more sanguine. I propose a boycott of net funding for a week, ( or maybe a month or as long as it takes?)
starting Memorial Day.
we can bring the pressure all right, and it requires us to withhold money.
I'm just not sure how long before an adequate statement is felt.
OR.. we can make a show of it, and give our money to Russ Feingold and NO One else. No one. Not our favorite candidates. Not the Howard Dean appeals. No one. Except Russ.
Are there enough of us out there who can do that? Is this a possibility?
No money for you until
no money for Iraq occupation?
Is that doable?
ps someone explain to me again about the permanent bases and largest Embassy in the world , how that is changing with this defunding talk?
