Now that kids have no freedom of speech as long as they are enrolled in school, they better hurry and get these videos up before Scalia takes their YouTube away.
Skylar Nalls, and justice, being served!
I remember my time in the great Cop VS Skater wars, but seriously, we were never choke slammed. And that was in Texas, where skating was akeen to dancing in Footloose. Plus, who the hell chokes a 14 year old girl? An out of control cop, that's who:
Skateboarding is not a crime.
You'd think with the gambling and such in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the cops would have better things to be doing than choke slamming a bunch of kids. Love how the old folks complain all kids do is play computer games and watch tv, then when the kids go outside for a little exercise and skateboarding they get all up in arms. And face it, if the kids were still playing marbles the police would be hassling them. But this is out of control:
Happy Skateboarding Day!
Yes, the Back to Future run around Time Square was uncalled for, but that was because that cop wanted that kid's blood and camera. See, this all really got out of control when the kid said he got photos of the cop choke slamming the first dude. So the cop knew he was screwed, so he decide to intimidate them all by using blunt force.
Since the guy with the camera and the other dude with the film camera didn't have skateboards, what was their crime?
Documenting police brutality.
At least these kids are learning their lessons early, America is now a Police State. To watch this video and argue otherwise is bunk, and you know it.
And if you do know it, and want to make a small difference, then let Hot Springs know that choke slamming young teenage for the petty crime of skateboarding is not acceptable:
The police contact listed on the Hot Springs http://cityhs.net website:
bsouthard@cityhs.net
City Attorney:
balbright@cityhs.net
City Manager:
kmyers@cityhs.net
As always play nice, no harassments, just petititon of our government officials, as safeguarded by the Constitution, or at least until Scalia rules on it.

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - Hot Springs police have placed an officer on administrative leave while they investigate an Internet video that appears to show him choking three youths who were skateboarding in violation of a city ordinance.
Mayor Mike Bush says investigators have talked with passers-by and business owners who saw Officer Joey Williams stop the young people on a downtown sidewalk Thursday. A YouTube video shows Williams apparently choking one youth after forcing him to the ground, while later chasing and wrestling two others while holding them in a headlock.
The two skateboarders I can see getting a ticket, in a calm cool manner. But to headlock and force to the ground the two cameramen is way pass the line. If he gets fired, I am sure he will land on his feet at Blackwater.
Moral of the Story: Take your camera everywhere, YouTube is your friend.
Here is Gatu's son getting the same kindly Cop treatment:
Seems someone needs an anger management retreat.
