I shit you not. The mental midgets of Fox & Friends this morning spent significant time bashing Mr. Rogers for making a generation of kids into pussies. More of the madness below the belt.
It's hard to imagine a more cynical bunch than the pundits at Fox Noise but the Douchebags of the Morning managed to shine right over them.
Many of us grew up watching Mr. Rogers. And I cannot think of a more homogenized unoffensive milk-toast show in the history of television. The only thing I could ever find offensive about it was that it wasn't offensive. But the sick people at Fox & Friends have managed to not only take offense to a show so sterile that it can lower your sperm count, they blame it for ruining a generation!
How could this happen? How did a show meant to entertain and educate children without the use of anything provocative in any way manage to ruin a generation of children? By making them feel special. That's right. Making them feel special. And how does making children feel special "ruin them"? According to the people at Fox & Friends, "It harms children when you make them feel special for no reason".
You see, what you libruls don't understand is that unless you make a child earn the right to feel special then you ruin the child. Children should only be allowed to feel special when they ARE special do to their own merits. For example, when you libruls let your kids T-Ball team play without keeping score(you know, so EVERYBODY wins) then you are in fact ruining them by not letting one team of superior children crush the other team of inferior children. And then chant, "NAAA-NANA-NANA-NAAA! YOU GUYS ARE LOSERS!"
Apparently the science-deniers at Fox & Friends don't believe in Darwinian Evolution but they do believe zealously in Social Darwinism. And anything the libruls or Mr. Rogers do to make kids miss out on the joy of feeling superior, even if it is just T-Ball or an innocuous children's show, is very bad for children. Children HAVE to EARN the right to feel special. PERIOD. If they don't, I guess parents are under the obligation to let them know that they are inferior. So all you parents who thought making your kids feel like pond scum was child abuse, turns out you were wrong. It's just the natural course of Social Darwinism. And all you librul parents who told your children not to tease the weaker kids, well you have helped Mr. Rogers ruin a generation by not giving them the glorious opportunity to crush the inferior.
How will we ever raise another generation of men like George 'Dubya' Bush or Dick Cheney? Men willing to crush those lower forms of humanity without feeling any twinge of compassion. We obviously can only save America by canceling reruns of Mr. Rogers and making sure that all T-Ball games count their score! We must save the children from the corrupting influence of compassion!
I must admit, it was kind of surreal seeing a guy like Steve Doocey support all this tough guy shit. Because if he was in prison I'm 100% sure he would be the bitch.
Well, I did some research on my own and I found scientific evidence that backs up the claims make by Fox & Friends.
According to a study done by the American Enterprise Institute -
- Children that are made to feel special for NO reason are 65% more likely to not hate homosexuals.
- Boys that play on T-Ball teams that DO NOT keep score so everybody can win are 75% more likely to get a sex change and star in she-male snuff porn films.
- Girls that play on T-Ball teams that DO NOT keep score so everybody can win are 85% more likely to NOT want to be just like Ann Coulter.
- Boys that play on T-Ball teams that DO keep score so they can feel superior are 79% more likely to enjoy being a guard at Abu Ghraib and 65% more likely to bomb abortion clinics.
- Girls that play on T-Ball teams that DO keep score so they can feel superior are 88% more likely to hope that they can give birth to lots of boys so they can proudly send them off to war against the scary brown people.

I got to thinking about the main message of Mr. Rogers. He wanted everyone to be neighbors. Who did Jesus want us to love? Our neighbors. Fred Rogers is obviously a subversive.
