I'm looking forward to this year's Yearly Kos Convention in Chicago, and I'm proud to be the only Presidential candidate that is a two-time Yearly Kos attendee. The Presidential Candidate Forum is going to be a historic event, but I’m really looking forward to the breakout session when I get to talk with all of you directly. Any of you who have met me know that my favorite part of campaigning is answering questions in person and talking to small groups about the issues that matter to them.
I'd like to use my breakout session to host the first ever Netroots Town Hall on "Getting Out of Iraq and Dealing with Dictators." This is the last week that Congress can act on Iraq before autumn, and there seems to be some debate about how to handle dictators. I believe I have the strongest plan for Iraq – the only plan to end the war now and get all the troops out – and I am the only candidate who has actually negotiated with the world’s toughest dictators. I'll share some of my best stories about negotiating with people like Saddam Hussein, Fidel Castro, and Omar Hasan Ahmad al-Bashir.
If you are going to be at the Yearly Kos convention in Chicago and would like to join me at the Town Hall, sign up now at www.richardsonforpresident.com/yearlykos.
I want to get to as many questions as I can on Saturday, but you can help me by submitting yours now – I’ll answer some in my opening and knowing what you’d like to hear will help me know what to make sure to cover. Submit your question now at: www.richardsonforpresident.com/yearlykos
