This kind of story reeks of police abuse. A divorced mother harrassed in the middle of the night by the police. Their complaint? A custody and parenting dispute with her ex, a sheriff's lieutenant, used his authority to force his hand. She gets arrested.
A suburban mother in a dispute with her her ex, a cop, is awakened in the middle of the night by her local police. They want to know why she has conditions on her ex hubby's request to take their eight year old daughter out of the country. Basically she told then it is none of their business and asked them to leave.
If it were only that simple. No, the cops didn't leave. They harrassed and intimidated her to the point she was handcuffed, arrested and taken to the station. When she was safely removed from the house her ex and daughter left together to the airport.
What is it with cops who abuse their authority? It's a problem. These chumps work for you and I. We pay their salary. It is this kind of abuse that causes law abiding citizens to be suspicious of authority. It's this brotherhood of cops, the fraternal crap that they stick together, watch each others back.
Is it any wonder why smart cops are rejected for service?<a</p>
