Having listened to this lightweight Lionel for months now, I can't believe anyone at Air America thought this was an improvement over Sam Seder -- who was smarter, funnier, and more progresive. But why should those factors stop a network that has Armstrong Williams kick off its drive time in NYC? (Let's not forget sidekick Sam Greenfield, Air America's own version of Alan Colmes).
Seder provided stimulating inspiration in the morning and was a key player promoting progressive House and Senate campaigns --with a touch of innovative humor. Lionel is just a grumpy guy with a cynical outlook on everything.
Does anyone on this list have some clout with Mark Green or any of the other honchos who have decided to make Air America as punchless as Reid and Pelosi?
