What is one to make of a candidate with rehearsed lackeys in a crowd responding to key phrases with rehearsed responses and signs and props.
While watching the Jefferson-Jackson Day dinner candidate speeches, I was assailed by a candidate with rehearsed lackeys in the audience making scripted responses with prepared signs and props, I was appalled by the phony sentiments and prepared response from rehearsed plants, haven't we had enough of this type of staged event propagandizing? Isn't it time for someone genuine and honest and forthright who speaks their mind and not their handlers minds, are we going to accept someone again who needs to be drilled for days on end so their debate answers match up to the polls? Which is really deserving of our support? Are we to be force fed another candidate by communities of interest who do not have the peoples best interests at heart, but their own.
I must say that the candidate that followed this travesty of a speech was moving and genuine, at least it struck me this way, and you've got to hand it to someone as well who would go last and still steal the show I'd say.
It's time to turn up the heat alright, time to turn up the heat on phony candidates who waffle according to what they think a particular audience or individual wants to hear just to get elected, it's time to turn up the heat on the shills of special interests, it's time to turn up the heat on the disengenuous candidates who won't let themselves get pinned down because they aren't speaking their mind but what they think might or might not be your mind, we've had more than enough of that I'd think.
