Big E posted an interview with Steve Sarvi, candidate in Minnesota's second congressional district against John Kline. Go read Big E's posting. It really hit home to me give that I live in the second district.
Big E's article highlights Steve Sarvi as an honest - down to earth person working to make Minnesota better for his kids and ours...what's not to like with this guy? It shows Steve as an average guy that has achieved 'above average' results by working hard, believing in himself, investing in local community and having a common sense approach to issues.
The question Minnesotans should ask themselves is 'should they continue to support a representative that doesn't support them?' While Congressman John Kline votes no to rebuilding our infrastructure, he continues to give a blank check to Bush's Iraqi war. Building bridges in Iraq but not in Minnesota, or voting funding for Alaska's 'bridge to nowhere' is not the position I want my representative to take.
I think I'll go over to Steve Sarvi's site and donate again.
