Well, it seems that the Edwards and Obama camps are going at each other a bit today. It all stemmed from the fact that although Barack Obama has recieved huge celebrity endorsements and money for his rockstar status, as well as lots of free media, including the fawnings of the MSM and Oprah Winfrey, he has serious reservations about a 527 using their supreme court upheld right to run ads for the candidate that gives them hope, John Edwards. I mean all the free hype and fawning is fine with Obama, as long as they are not fawning over an opponent with a much better vision for our country.
Yes the whole point of his argument seems to be that since John Edwards opposes these 527s that he should magically snap his fingers and keep Americans from using their first amendment rights to let people know he offers more hope to them than Obama. What a joke!! With all the money he has raised, why is he so scared of the 750k that American citizens have used on their own accord to show why they support Edwards instead?
Well, with that aside, lets look a little further into this article for some really telling points that distinguish Obama and Edwards. The subject of free trade, which for some reason Obama also felt he could attack Edwards on:
Obama also gave special emphasis Saturday to trade and its impact on workers, which has been a key part of Edwards' campaign.
On the stump and in new television commercials, Obama called for more training and health coverage for workers who find their jobs shipped overseas as well as giving them significantly more time to find another job.
"We're not going to stop globalization in its track, but what we can do is have a president who's standing up for American farmers and workers," said Obama, speaking to about 300 people in a middle school gymnasium.
"When I'm president we'll give you training before you lose your job if there's a good chance it will get shipped overseas," said Obama. "We'll give you an education account that you can use to retrain."

Cmon Barack!! Why not fight against these trade deals to begin with? That would take courage, like the courage you failed to show on the Peru Free Trade Agreement!! You want to train people who's jobs are shipped overseas, but why not fight for those jobs? Why not end the idiotic trade policies enacted by the last several administrations?
I mean, give someone training BEFORE their job gets shipped overseas? Give me a break!! Are you training in advance the workers that will lose their jobs to Peru in a deal even the Peruvian unions were against? Do you want to see a real plan on Fair Trade? Here you go:

Instead of decrying the fact that many union workers and average Americans find little hope in your constant DINO talk, why not come up with policies that give them hope, like Edwards has. Instead of crying because a 527 supports Edwards, why not take a good hard look at exactly why they do, and quit attacking the one candidate who thinks we should run and win on Democratic values? You are losing this argument, and looking silly doing so.
