Ron Paul has been accused of bigotry as of late. Specifically, he has been accused of holding racist and anti-semitic views. He was accused of being a Nazi sympathizer and a white nationalist.
So is Ron Paul a really a racist and an anti-semite? And if so, how effective of a racist and anti-semite is he?
Ron Paul is known for being a passionate follower of the Austrian School of economics. Ron Paul idolizes two people from that school, both of whom are economists, and both of whom are Jewish. That's right! Ludwig von Mises and Murray Rothbard are (or were) the top two dogs of the Austrian School, and they were both Jews who grew up on the East Coast.
And what of the allegations that Ron Paul doesn't like blacks?
For the answer, we turn to ThirdPartyWatch.com, where Ron Paul's preferred choice for Vice President is revealed in a quote from a Washington Post interview. In it, Ron Paul mentions Walter Williams as an ideal running mate.
For those not in the know, Walter Williams is an an African-American economist.
So Ron Paul, the Nazi sympathizer and black hater, idolizes two Jewish economists and wants to tap an African American as his running mate.
People have a wide variety of reasons for thinking that Ron Paul sucks. But by now it must be conceded that if Ron Paul is a bigot, he sure does suck at it.
P.S. Even the New York Times has had to retract it's allegations of racism and bigotry, once a crowd of internets tubes users did their homework for them.
