I know, a little bit twisted, but work with me here.
I have come around on the missus, and I have the good people of New Hampshire, along with the network blowhards, to thank for it. I'm not sure I'll vote for her yet, but I've learned something.
Manny Ramirez spent the majority of the recent sensational Red Sox playoff and World Series victories being mercilessly pilloried by Tim McCarver and Joe (the human gag reflex) Buck.
What seemed to bother these clowns the most was that Manny went about his approach to the hallowed game, treating it as a game. Thing is, while most of us Red Sox nation types, the great unwashed, loved him for all he did, warts and all, Tim and Joe constantly reminded us that they knew better, and that Manny did not deserve their respect, nor their recognition.
Karma being what it is, Manny ended up with the last laugh.
How does this relate to Mrs. Clinton, my Senator?
I came to respect her greatly following 2 recent reads; Gloria Steinem's brilliant Op-Ed in yesterday's Times, and Rebecca Traistor's piece in today's Salon The Witch is Not Dead
Hillary is what she is, and I have come to believe she is being herself; I may not agree with her, but she certainly deserves better treatment than what she has recently received.
Manny being Manny - Hillary being Hillary
May they both be granted the opportunity to excel as themselves.
