Finally, one of our candidates had the guts to call out the incredibly disenfranchising caucus process that makes a mockery of our party's fight for the enfranchising of voters and the increase of turnout to make our democracy more participatory than it currently is.
Hillary Clinton takes the correct stand on the caucus process and the only unfortunate thing here is that she still participated in Iowa and is in Nevada as well.

Hillary makes the case that the caucuses are in fact causing massive disenfranchisement of potential voters by saying:
"That is troubling to me. You know in a situation of a caucus, people who work during that time -- they're disenfranchised. People who can't be in the state or who are in the military, like the son of the woman who was here who is serving in the Air Force, they cannot be present."
And while she is absolutely correct, she does not go far enough. She should be advocating the Democratic Party to not award delegates to any caucus state in future primaries (future like 2012), as they disenfranchise voters and do not uphold the ideals of democracy. We need to eliminate the caucuses and have all states use primaries that give everyone a reasonable chance to be heard.
