This is the first time I’ve come across a journalist or pundit using Obama’s initials as you have done. Curious.

The above quote is posted in Mr. Paul Krugman's Blog which he discusses how Barack Obama is maligning Hillary Clinton's Healthcare Plan.
He can argue pro or against the merrits of the two plans but why does he resort to the pettiness of yesterday.
Did he not learn anything from South Carolina?
here is the full qoute:

Obama does Harry and Louise, again
The Obama campaign sends out an ugly mailer. Sorry, but this is just destructive — like the Obama plan, the Clinton plan offers subsidies to lower-income families. And BO himself has conceded that he might have to penalize people who don’t buy insurance until they need care. So this is just poisoning the well for health care reform. The politics of hope, indeed.
Prof. Krugman take back your insults and stay on the issues.
I agree with this comment in the Blog:

I have usually admired and been grateful for Krugman’s analyses. But I’m mystified that his column and blog have become de facto Clinton endorsements. If you want to know what turned U.S. discourse and public opinion definitively away from New Deal social responsibility, just review the campaign to end welfare as we knew it and the campaign (in the context of the Adoption and Safe Families Act) to further demonize marginalized parents. Single payer health care is where we should aim, but quibbling of ther the details of the Clinton and Obama plans misses the point. The point is that Obama is more principled, more electable and more likely to achieve progressive reform.
