I just got back from the London Democrats Abroad polling place and it was great.
If you live abroad, you can still vote (even if you didn't register). You just need to show up. More after the fold
First things first. For those abroad, Democrats Abroad is holding the first global primary.
Please go to www.democratsabroad.org for details. You DO NOT HAVE TO BE PRE-REGISTERED. You need to bring your passport and may need a form of id that list your resident country.
The online and mail-in voting is closed, so if you would like your voice to be heard, you need to go in person. In fact, RUN to your polling center
Again the website is http://www.democratsabroad.org/
My observations:
There was a LINE!! There was both a Clinton and Obama cheering section. The crowd seemed jolly and excited for the opportunity to vote.
Lots of young people voting! It was great to hear people talk without an accent (yes, we all have accent's in London). I feel great!! I didn't think I was going to be able to vote in this primary and I'm excited that my voice will be heard.
And finally... GO OBAMA!!!
