Please be patient with me, as this is my first diary.
Coming home at 4:15 today (Sunday). I heard an unbelievable statement on the radio- WLW-Cincinnati - a Clear Channel station. WLW is by far the largest radio station in the Cincinnati, Ohio area, with a powerful signal that broadcasts to the center of the state (Columbus) and also most of northern Kentucky.
A radio host, named Eric Deeters, whom I have never heard before, just stated that Barack Obama is a Muslim and did not swear allegiance to America on the Bible, but instead used the Koran. I know this is the subject of a 'stealth' e-mail campaign, but I could not believe that a radio station, with hundreds of thousands of listeners, would make such an untrue statement. Is there any recourse?
I called the station (business offices are closed as it is Sunday) and voiced my complaint. Here is the contact information I used:
FOR PROGRAMMING QUESTIONS AND COMPLAINTS ABOUT WILLIE
DARRYL PARKS-Director of AM Operations
(513) 686-8300
FOR GUEST SCHEDULING AND COMPLAINTS IF YOU CAN'T REACH DARRYL
RICH WALBURG-Assistant Program Director Executive Producer

HEAD HONCHO FOR REDS, BENGALS, BEARCATS, MUSKETEERS NETWORKS

I am very upset at this lie, and feel it must be addressed with WLW, Clear Channel, and even the FCC. I look to the readers of DailyKos to help provide some advice on how to best handle this.
