I hit the net version of MTP and I heard this
( From The Transcript)
Russert: Senator Schumer, if Barack Obama was ahead at the end of this primary season in elected delegates, states won and popular vote, should he be the nominee?
SEN. SCHUMER: Well, you know, again, to predict what will happen after June 7, when there are going to be so many twists and turns, you need to know lots of details. Did he win the other states 60-40 or did he win them 50.1 to 49.9? Is the popular vote overwhelming or is it not?
This was the guy on here asking for money a few days ago.
This was the guy on here pumping his book two days after the election.
I didn't see a review of it ( I don't recall any Kossack saying the book was a worthwhile investment), but I'm guessing he was trying to capitalize for personal financial gain on the good will and relief generated by a victory that surprised most everyone with a quickly written book before the D's actually had to perform . Boy what a performance it's been ...eh? To say my opinion of the guy is low is a massive understatement.
So now we know where the good Sen stands on voting. If Obama wins the trifecta MTP Russert mentioned, Schumer starts waffling on whether or not that constitutes a real win. This was like that heart stabbing line the Sen. used on our new AG. "Mukasey is wrong on torture". Like a frickin campaign issue.
We also now have a look at the Clinton Strategy. Lose all three key elements of the primary? They will still push for the Super delegates to override the big three; popular vote, delegates committed and states won.
George Bush is so proud of you two Senators. You learned and you learned well from 2000. Whatever it takes to win. No matter what the damage. Me first, country second, party third.
All Obama can do is just do what he has been doing but better. He needs to crush her. This is a pox on all of our houses if she pulls out a slimy win.
Why any Dem would put up with this is beyond me.
