This is gotta be quick, because there's only two hours before the caucuses here in HI start, and Obama supporters need to be aware that the main argument that is going to be made by the Clinton camp in caucuses tonight is their bogus "plagiarism" charge.
Drop down with me below the fold for necessary ammo to take with you!
First, we know that this will be their tactic because Hillary today went on two HI TV stations making the false claim that the bogus "plagiarism" charge against Barack (for using phrases that he and MA Gov Patrick have co-created) originated from media sources when, in fact (as noted in this currently rec'd diary), the whole smear was extruded from the bowels of her own campaign.
Here is the link to the expose' of her mendacity, direct from the AP. Those of you in HI who can, should copy that link (1.5 pages) as many copies as you can pull off quickly, and take them to the caucus.
Here are the money quotes directly from that article, which is titled, Clinton Fingerprints on Plagiarism Flap :
FACT CHECK: Any suggestion that the story had a life of its own, apart from the Clinton campaign, is disingenuous.
Patrick, a friend and supporter of Obama, said he encouraged the candidate last week to respond to Clinton's criticisms about his rhetoric, as he has done before. He said he shared lines from his 2006 campaign for governor with Obama's speechwriters and wanted no credit, because the two men often swap ideas.
Obama spokesman Bill Burton said: "Senator Clinton knows full well that her campaign held a conference call with reporters to fan these flames and the fact that she suggested her campaign had nothing to do with it is exactly the kind of evasive tactic voters are rejecting."
Myself, I'm going to read the whole article to the caucus tonight.
And anyone who can should take a laptop to the event and also copy the URL of that AP piece, so that you can link to it there and display it to the unbelievers.
Let's head her off at the pass, folks.
