I caucused for Barack Obama here in Minnesota, but held no bad feelings for Hillary Clinton. That's just changed. I'll still vote for her in November should she win the Democratic nomination, but I'll have to hold my nose.
I just heard one of the talking heads on CNN comment that, even should she win both Ohio and Texas and most of the rest of the remaining primaries, she still will not catch Obama in the pledged delegate count. He went on to say that he'd talked to a senior Clinton campaign aide who explained that to win, the Clinton campaign will have to win over the super delegates and that to do so, they will have to scare the super delegates with negative campaigning against Obama. In short, according to the Clinton aide, "we have to mess him up."
In other words, it appears to be more important to Hillary Clinton to win the nomination than to prevent another at least four years of a Republican presidency. Dogs and mangers come to mind. Senator Clinton, I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in you!
