ST. PATRICK'S DAY is right around the corner.
If any of you remember the movie, "The Quiet Man" with John Wayne, when his character, Sean Thornton and that of Victor McLaglen as Squire "Will" Danaher was fighting it out? Going from county to county, so the locals can bet and watch the fight and then during the middle of the fight, it was time to take a drink? It is that time, now.
Only it is time to look in our pockets, wallets, coin purses and send some money to the lad who is still dukin' it out in the ring, Barack O'bama.
We must give praise and thanks to Nonie3234. The lad/lassie, who started this feel good movement about O'bama.
It is a hard and arduous fight right now, but all boxers get a time out and now it is that time.
Since O'bama is 1/4 Irish, it is only appropriate that we celebrate with a new St. Pat's t-shirt.
Not in the t-shirt mood? Well there is a new section of that nifty Obama Store called Artists for Obama. The first being a limited edition print by Shepard Fairley.
So, let us step back and take a deep breath. Pretty soon our lad will be the nominee, but as he is takin' the punches, in the end we know that he will emerge standing victorious and will be announced the winner. As we watch each round, let us not forget to continue to donate so our lad can continue to fight!!! Let us do it pronto, so we can get back to watching it all unfold on TEE-VEE.
Donate to the best grassroots campaign, 50 State Strategy campaign, people powered campaign and best run campaign we have the priviledge to witness. The Obama Campaign.
If I don't see ya, at the pub or bar, Happy St. Patrick's Day to you all!!!
