I, like all of you, are very reticent to beleive anything that comes out of the Clintons mouth. Thats why I have been perplexed by Hillarys insistance for primary re-do's in Michigan and Florida.
In the past 2 weeks the public has been bombarded with news reports about the Florida and Michigan Primaries and why or why they shouldn't count the delegates from those states. The Clinton have been front and center on stoking the publics interest and creating the impression that the Democrats have to count the Michigan and Florida delegates to be fair, Even if they have primary re-do's in both states.
The actions of the Clintons, beg the question, "Do the Clinton's really want primary re-do's in Florida and Michigan when Hillary already won those primaries. I bet everyone that reads this answers that question, "yes". I, however beleive that the Clintons never really wanted redo's in Florida and Michigan, and that they are completely satisfied with the the results of the first primary. I know that the Clintons fully intend to count the delegates from Florida and Michigan after the last primary votes are tallied in Puerto Rico, no matter what the DNC says. The only reason they tried to make preparations for re-do's in those states is so they can say, "Hey we TRIED to have another primary in Florida and Michigan, But Senator Obama said NO"! This gives them an out to demand that the DNC must count those delegates in Florida and Michigan! Everyone here knows that The Clintons have no qualms dragging this mess to court. And if they do i am afraid that given the choice between sticking to the DNC rules or not disenfranchising voters, they have a good shot of getting the courts to enforce the first primaries and assign the proportional delegates. these delegates could make a difference if Hillary builds momenetum.
I hope this scenerio doesn't come to fruition, but it may. God Help us!
