With everyone's attention focused on this November's important election, I want to mention an important date in your campaign for Nebraska's Brand of Change, the US Senate race in Nebraska.

That's the date of the Democratic Primary here in Nebraska, and we have a challenge on our hands. We are running against a tough, self-funded opponent.
And...time is short.
Voters still need to hear much more about our campaign. They need to know that there’s a candidate in this race who knows how hard it is to raise a family on a tight budget.
They need to know that we’ve united ranchers and environmentalists, young people and seniors, and Democrats, Independents, and Republicans.
They need to know that because of our stance on the issues that newspapers across Nebraska endorsed us during our historic 2006 congressional run.
We have a powerful message of change, but we need to raise the resources to get that message out to the Democratic voters in Nebraska.
On Friday, we launched a "Heat up the Brand" fund raising drive where our goal was to raise $25,000 but Midnight tonight...and the response has been incredible.
So far, you have given $22,125!
We are so close to our goal. So, please help us completely heat up our brand with a contribution of $25, $50, $100 or more so we can call our drive a success.
