To observe April Fools’ Day, the Minnesota DFL Party released a web video comparing Senator Norm Coleman’s campaign-kickoff speech last week to his record of putting corporate special interests ahead of the best interests of average Minnesotans.
"It’s only fitting that on April Fools’ Day, we hold Norm Coleman accountable for his record — as he has repeatedly asked us to do," said Brian Melendez, DFL Party chair. "But when we do, it’s clear that Senator Coleman never failed to put the special interests of powerful corporations and the well connected ahead of the interests of average Minnesotans."
Melendez continued, "Norm Coleman is going to try to paper over his record; but Minnesotans won’t be fooled in 2008."
