Hillary made good money. What I think is telling is how the contrast between her campaign economic mismanagement and her lush financial stance (and unwilling to use any of it to wrong her misdeeds or fund the "passion" of her life--us americans) makes me doubtless as to her obtuseness and inability to run the economy of the United States.
I am happy that Bill and Hillary made $109 Million--how American and good for them.
I am concerned about Hillary's ties and conflicts, but not enough study in detail her return.
But what I absolutely cannot stand and what has me sitting here writing instead of working, is her and Bill's absolute obtuseness.
This tax return is an absolute slap in the face of every American working person.
Here is why:
Hillary starts a campaign in 2007 and raises approximatley $135 million in funds through year end. Her campaign mismanages the funds, such that by Feb. 10th she is broke. She announces a "loan" to her campaign for $5 million and she and Bill start talking about how she has to run her campaign on a shoestring budget. She plays the victim in order to get individuals who make $15 an hour to give her $50.00. And yet, how much of her hard earned money has she "donated" to the campaign?
Here is what I expect (don't expect and want) from my President. I do not expect them to go broke running their campaign. Under normal circumstances, I do not expect them to contribute to the campaign (although I would like to see it). I would like to see individuals with Hillary's net worth invest in their own campaign--I believe it says something about them.
If you have $50 million and your campaign mismanages the $10, $20, $50 contributions by average working class Americans, I expect you to donate money to your campaign to repair the damage done by your agents and yourself.
If you have $50 million dollars, I expect that your employee's health insurance is paid on time.
If you have $50 million dollars, I expect that the $600 rent for the office in Mass (I think) is paid timely.
If you have $50 million dollars, I expect that all small businesses (and big for that matter) are paid timely.
If you have $50 million dollars and you have run broke from the $135 donated to you by hard working middle class americans, I expect that you will not tug at their pocketbooks and heartstrings, by telling them that you are running on a "shoe string budget" and that you can't run the ads necessary to win because you don't have the budget of the opponent.
There are eldery retired women who have forgone their weekly $15.00 Saturday dinner, for this $50 million dollar woman.
There are hard working mechanics who have given her $50 and now find themselves suffocated by high fuel and high grocery costs and now have to scrape hard to get enough money to pay the electric bill that is double what it was a year before.
How can a woman who takes, takes, takes while pocketing, investing and reaping the rewards of her investment run our economy.
She is sooooo obtuse; she has no concept of what happens economically in the daily life of the average American.
