Hillary and Bill remind me of those two dancing guys from SNL that would bump a girl in between them like a ping pong ball.If Brack Obama doesn't watch it, he is going to get caught in their trap.
Bill Clinton has abandoned the African American community, but he has found his people. They are white, rural, medium to lower income and conservative. They may own guns, and are not too fond of "elitist, uppity," educated blacks telling them to change. These are the folks who are in denial of being racist ( not saying all are). Bill is playing the racist card.
Like a Snake trader, he lies and then denies that he lies, but that's okay with them. He speaks in such simplistic language, but that's ok too. He twist the words of others and that's ok too. This is his new job. Show up in rural America, lie and attack Obama and then lie that he did it. He's charmed and hypnotised them with the magical snake.
The AP article Clinton read quoted Reed College political science professor Paul Gronke, who said that he didn't think the small towns strategy employed by the Clinton campaign in states like Pennsylvania and Ohio would work in Oregon because of the differences in demographics and history.
"The old politics sells well in Pennsylvania, because it's an old state," Gronke told the AP, classifying Oregon as a much younger state in terms of history and population.
Clinton clearly took offense to the quote. But he also saw it as an opportunity, using the statement to rally the crowd around the idea that "old politics" meant ignoring rural America -- something he said Hillary Clinton would never do as president.
"Now listen," Clinton told a booing crowd. "He said that Hillary's decision to reach out to rural Oregon was -- quote –- 'old politics.'"
But I think that it really matters what happens in rural America. It matters what happens in rural Oregon.
I think that pretending people in small towns in rural America don't matter is old politics.
This rural/urban/suburban divide in America is bad for our country.
Look how he twists the professor's words to make a division. Here Bill Clinton is making a division between rural people and urban/suburban America. Divide white rural against urban. Divide and conquer. Divide rural white against the well-off educated. He's already divided white against black.
"You can tell that nice fella up at Reed College that you don't resent him for having a nice job...
As you may have noticed Bill and Hillary have new friends: Rush, Hannity, and Fox News. They will use them to stir up the lies and divisions. Are Hillary and Bill still Democrats?
One more thing I noticed. Bill is running for PRESIDENT. As the clock ticks, watch him act more bizzare, more desperate, and watch him take over Hillary's job as candidate. He'll be the one throwing the punches because his job as president is at stake.
By the way, what the heck is a TIP jar and how do I post it?
