This may be my first and only diary entry on Daily Kos. After I reveal the truth I know, I may never be heard from again. But this has to be heard. I know who rules the world and what they want from us. It's too late to save ourselves from their domination, but we can at least bring the truth to light. Then THEY will know WE know. It's our only chance of any hope of fighting back.
'They' are the most insidious and manipulative creatures in the known Universe. Their quest for world domination began over ten thousand years ago and by following a carefully laid out blue print they have acheived their goal. At least in Western countries. They have a long way to go in third world countries, but they're patient. Even if it takes decades or centuries, their dedication to their cause will lead them to victory.
They rule by trickery and deceit. They quietly took over the world while we were all too busy doing things like surviving ice ages, wars, famines, earthquakes, and all that stuff. They were watching us. They were always in the background, taking note of our self destructive nature. They spotted our weaknesses and honed in for the kill, while we were distracted. They are ruthless and will stop at nothing to complete their domination of Earth.
The first thing they did was to get smaller and less scary. The first of their kind were large and strong, with wild eyes and big teeth. Their fur got softer and less coarse. Their eyes got soft and intelligent. They managed, over the millenia, to shrink some of their kind into purse size and grow some of their kind into giants. The next thing they did was to make the babies of their kind irrestible. Grown men melt into puddles of silliness in the presence of their babies. Heads of State lapse into baby talk. Presidents, Dictators, Popes, intellectuals, and ordinary working people all become hapless slaves the instant they come into contact with one of the babies. That's just the beginning. 'They' know that once the poison is injected into the innocent human being, there's no going back. The baby is taken by the person and from that day forward rules ruthlessly and totally. Their influence on society, from the grandest historical happenings down to every day life is a secret known only to them - up until now.
They are manipulative in a degree that will never be fully understood. We don't even always know we are being manipulated by them. When they want something, such as a walk or a ride in the car or a treat, they do something 'cute' to get it. The one who rules you might bring you her leash and sit in front of you imploring with those big soft brown eyes. Or she might do a trick like 'sit up' or 'roll over' right in front of the treat jar, and you, of course, will melt and fork over the treat. The one who rules your neighbor might stand by the bed at night, looking lost and forlorn, shaking slightly as though chilled, until your neighbor relents and lets him crawl into the bed. Your mayor, congresscritter, pastor, or boss may be just as weak as you are, and do all sorts of foolish things at the bidding of one of 'them'. It's one of the things that binds us together more than we even realize and if we just bring the subject out into the open, we will begin to realize that race, gender, sexual preference and all those superficial differences pale in the light of the total domination 'they' have over us.
That brings us to the last paragraph and the title of the diary. I'm sure by now, if you've managed to read this, you've figured out who 'they' are. 'They' are dogs. They rule us completely and totally. I work in a vet's office and I see every day how helpless human beings are in the powerful grasp of this manipulative creature. WWDD means 'What Would Dogs Do?' Dogs would roll in the grass, chase squirrels, sleep, eat, bark, play, love, make us laugh, make us love. They wouldn't argue over a silly piece of land and kill millions of their kind over it. They wouldn't murder a bunch of innocents of their own kind for an idea. It's not so bad being ruled by a creature who only wants to live for the moment, who gives and receives endless love, and who brings joy to so many people regardless of who and where they are. So, when we get tense about the things in life we can't do anything about, we just need to ask ourselves WWDD.
