How is it possible for someone to stand in front of hundreds of people and make claims that are demonstrably false and/or misleading?
Take this quote from the Times.
Mrs. Clinton’s version went like this: "They came for the steel companies and nobody said anything," she intoned. "They came for the auto companies and nobody said anything. They came for the office companies, people who did white-collar service jobs, and no one said anything. And they came for the professional jobs that could be outsourced and nobody said anything. So this is not just about steel," she finished.
Here is the problem with this: SHE AND HER HUSBAND HAVE BEEN IN FEDERAL OFFICE SINCE 1992.
At any point THEY could have said something, but they were the ones pushing NAFTA. They were the ones sitting on their hands while American jobs were marched offshore.
That she draws a moral equivalence between US job losses and the deaths of 6 million Jews, well, that is just sick.
Please, Indiana and North Carolina, end this.
