Right after Obama's victory speech, Cal Thomas wrote an article describing the fist bump as a "hezbollah style fist jab". Shortly after, he edited his article removing the entire paragraph with that phrase. I know this, because I saw his edited article on Human Events, and the original version in Google Cache.
Now, apparently Cal Thomas or a representative at Human Events is denying this ever happened. The story being spun is that the phrase originated in a comment on the article. That simply isn't true. I saw the comment that's being referred to. I also saw the paragraph in Cal Thomas' article that the comment referred to. Now, digging through Google, I cannot find a trace of the original unedited article.
So, Kossacks, help me out. Did anyone have the foresight to save off a copy of Cal Thomas' "hezbollah style fist jab" article? Please, dig through your browser histories, concentrating on June 3 - June 4 timeframe. Maybe someone still has it in their browser cache.
Thanks in advance.
