► First up: Jack Cafferty knee-caps McWhiner.
Transcript:
Look, the surge is over. The surge is over.
McCain needs to stop whining about the surge.
An interview saying if you'd known then what you know now, would have, could have, should have is totally irrelevant to what we do now with Iraq,
And in case McCain is interested, here's Gallup poll numbers:
- 79 percent, Gallup poll of Americans have a negative views of the economy,
- 87 percent of the Americans say the economy is getting worse,
- 61 percent of Americans say an economic issue is the most important thing in the next election,
- 18 percent say it's the war in Iraq.
So, you know, I'm tired of listening to McCain whine about he won't "say he was wrong about the surge," [mocking tone, original].
It just doesn't matter at this point!

► Now, I'm just getting warmed up. Joe Klein called out McSame's smear mongering, calling him the dirtiest candidate he has ever covered.
But what he said today -- and David Gergen is absolutely right about this -- what he said about Barack Obama being willing to lose a war to win an election IS THE MOST SCURRILOUS THING THAT I HAVE HEARD A PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE SAY IN THE NINE ELECTIONS I HAVE COVERED. [emphasis original].
Scurrilous things have been said before, but they're usually said by aides, and or by spokespeople.
And the fact that John McCain would choose to do this by himself is a very significant moment in this campaign.
*
► Klein's outrage continued. He went on to call him a liar and he took after McSame's fear mongering.
Transcript:
Now, to go to David's points:
What is far more serious is the way that McCain continues to characterize this war, in these stark terms.
A year ago, he was saying that, if we left, al Qaeda would take over the entire country.
Al Qaeda is a tiny Sunni sliver in a big Shiite country. THAT WAS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN. [emphasis original].
McCain has been overstating his case throughout, in part for effect. I suppose the question is, does he really believe this.

► Next up: David Gergen. He called in to say McSame's continue pattern of gaffes show McSame is too old! POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!
Transcript:
Anderson, where I think this story is probably going to go is toward the issue of age.
John McCain is nearing his 72nd birthday, which is coming this August. You know, in the last few days, he has confused the border of Iraq and the border of Afghanistan. Not long ago, he confused Somalia with Sudan.
And what you're going to do is find his critics arguing the age issue.
And we have already -- already, on "LARRY KING" tonight, for example, there was a vigorous argument, about his age.
► Clearly disgusted, Gergen continued:
Anderson, I do think it's a mistake, but I think the bigger mistake today was arguing, as you said earlier -- John McCain said twice today that that Senator Obama would rather lose a war than a campaign. That's a very tough charge.

► The Levee is starting to leak -- in this clip the MSM mocks McSame for being a sore loser, for being too old, and for being too angry!

► With Barack in Jerusalem, ABC found HOPE taking root among Israelis and Palestinians.
ABC News: What is the attraction of him?
Respondent #1: He's different. He's young. He's black. He's a minority. For us, that's the attraction.
Respondent #2: There are some ideas that maybe Obama is not so pro-Israel, but I don't think so.
ABC News: You think he is pro-Israel?
Respondent #2: Yes.
ABC News: We did find one Palestinian girl eating there.
Respondent #3: We've been disappointed so many times with the U.S., and we find, like, all the policies are the same, and follow, like, everybody follows the same policy when it comes to the Middle-East. So, we just don't give a damn about it anymore. Sorry.
ABC News: But this is still a divided city, and we had to go to the Palestinian section to find more of the Palestinian viewpoint.
Respondent #4: And we need a change. The reason why I said this - we need a new face, like Obama, to have a change, because McCain is another Bush.
ABC News: As we were about to leave, Dr. Turasi ended with a hopeful note.
Respondent #5: Enough is enough. This is what I mean: we have to start a new page, a new era - peace.
ABC News: That is "World News" for this Tuesday. I'm Charlie Gibson, reporting tonight from Jerusalem.
