I have lost all respect for John McCain.
I admit--I lose most of it when he literally cuddled with George Bush like Bush was a long lost girlfriend.
But the recent attacks on Obama have revealed what desperation looks like: it looks like John McCain
Desperation can cause otherwise good people to commit heinous acts. Sometimes it works the other way and people can rise to the occasion and do magnificent things, like pulling a car off of someone, etc.
With McCain, it is obvious that the man is so desperate that he has sold his soul to the devil. By making the type of attacks on Obama's character and now openly calling BO a racist, John McCain has flushed his war record down the drain. However heroic he may have been while a POW, he has now been reduced to someone who was good while young and then grew into being a bitter man.
His bitterness is misdirected, however. He should be bitter at Bush, Karl Rove, and the rest of the Republican establishment who savored the tactics that Rove used against McCain in the South Carolina Primary several years ago.
Democrats had nothing to do with that little episode--branding him as having a black daughter out of wedlock. Mr. McCain--I don't recall you lashing back at Karl Rove for being a racist. I don't recall you holding Bush' feet to the fire. ANd now that have made your pact with the devil--Bush himself--and have chosen to adopt his methods in an insane quest to sully the reputation of BO, it has become obvious.
Desperation can cause people to become heroes.
Desperation can cause people to become thugs.
John McCain--you're not a hero, sir...
