This past weekend Russia inavaded the soverign nation of Georgia, after the unprovoked attack of South Ossetia. In the following days after the attack and Russia's subsequent invasion of Georgia, to protect South Ossetia, "presumptuous" Republican nominanee Sen. John McCain found the time to rattle sabers at Russia. Has tweedle dumb and tweedle dumber now involved America in WWW III?
tanyainsacramento wrote a diary last night with an American eye-witness account of who started the conflict.
Continue below the fold
Please note: this is my first diary. Y'all have insipred me to do this. I realize, that I'm loosing my virginity here so your comments and critiques are welcome. I saw other diaries regarding the conflict, but none with references that I've included here.
We learned earlier this week that McCain's advisor puppetmaster, Randy Scheunemann's lobbying firm, was paid $200,000, from the Georgian Government, shortly after his leave of absence.
On April 17, a month and a half after Scheunemann stopped working for Georgia, his partner signed a $200,000 agreement with the Georgian government. The deal added to an arrangement that brought in more than $800,000 to the two-man firm from 2004 to mid-2007. For the duration of the campaign, Scheunemann is taking a leave of absence from the firm.
Everybody, or anybody with a brain, knows this to be a clear conflict of interest. Any Presidental canidate who completly immerses his campaign with lobbysts whores of foreign nations and agents whores of "disaster capatalists", has no business speaking at the behest of our country. I became enraged the other day, when I heard McCain say that he speaks for all Americans. For I knew, he was just a cod-piece of Randy Scheunemann's firm, "Big Oil" and American hegemony in the region.
This brings me back to the June comments made by, yet another, of McCain's lobbyists whores - Charlie Black. Charlie stated that another terrorist attack in the United States would "be a big advantage" for McCain in the coming election. If they can't produce a terrorist attack then would a war better? McCain recently stated that "I know how to win wars". More like he knows how to rain death onto civilan populations from 35,000 feet. What a better way to prove his - "bomb, bomb, bomb Iran" prowess then a full blown war in Central Aisa.
An interesting article was written by Peter Symonds in May of 2005. The article was precursor of a potental conflict that may arise in the region due to American hegemony at the behest of "Big Oil".
This latter deal highlights the logic of the newly completed BTC pipeline. Unable to fully utilise [sic] the BTC’s capacity simply from oilfields in Azerbaijan, the BP consortium, with the backing of Washington, is compelled to seek oil from Kazakhstan and other Central Asian sources, intensifying competition and potentially leading to political and military conflict.
The article refers to consequences if the BTC pipeline was attacked or destroyed.
The 50-metre wide corridor, through which the pipeline runs, is a virtual state within a state. It is governed by the Inter-Governmental Agreement signed by the participating countries. The agreement largely exempts BP and its partners from any laws in the three countries by allowing the consortium to demand compensation should any legislation (including environmental, social and human rights laws) make the pipeline less profitable.
What are the actual agreements promises that our goverment has made to BP consortium and the IGA? Does anybody know? I bet Granpappy and Randy do.
It was reported propagandized by many news agencies that the Russians attempted to bomb the pipeline. Are we to believe that the Russians aren't capable of blowing up the BTC pipeline if they wanted to? Of course they are.
For now there is a truce. What promises are the cod-pieces (Graham and Lieberman) going to make to Georgian President Saakashvili in their upcoming trip to the region?
How far will this country allow McInsane, his whores and the cult of corruption go? If McCain and Black don't get their terrorist wish, will they provoke greater conflict in the region?
P.S. I was going to add some pictures of maps of the pipeline, but I have to get gooder at this.
