Okay, so I live here in Texas, and work the afternoon shift. I see a lot of commercials between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. I have not seen ONE Obama commercial.
However, I have seen several McCain commercials. They're in between the commercials for life insurance ("It costs as much to bury a woman as it does a man!") the commercials for the Hoverround ("Where can you go in your Hoverround?") and the commercials for Liberty Medical's diabetes medication ("You may qualify for a free meter from Liberty Medical")
Needless to say, these commercials are targeted at old people. Old people who SHOULD NOT be voting for McCain. McCain supports Social Security privatization, and thinks our health care system is working just fine. But the commercial is all about scare tactics - Obama will raise your taxes, Obama doesn't support offshore drilling, etc. We really need an advertising blitz here in Texas to address this important voting demographic.
Old people vote too!
