Stop the panicing over state polls!!!!! Because they lag behind national polls. When McCain or in reality Palin starting surging in the national polls it was silly to point out that places like http://www.fivethirtyeight.com still showed Obama ahead. What happened was that the state numbers hadn't caught up to the bounce yet. Well so far it may be early but I think this weekend I felt the tone and trajectory of this race change. From the Palin crash to the market meltdown my gut feeling was that Obama would be back to his pre-convention slight national lead by the end of the week. Well guess what! it might be happening sooner than that, R2000 has Obama up 4, Rasmussen has him only down 1 despite changing party ID numbers due to increased GOP enthusiasm and drum roll please............Hotline's tracker will show Obama UP 4 today, Gallup also down to 1 and says Monday was one of Obama's best days!!!!!
