I have decided that the traffic laws of the state of Alabama are not legitimate.
These laws make it extremely inconvenient for me. Frequently I have to get some place in a hurry and these illegitimate speeding laws hold me up.
So, from now on, I'm not going to obey any of them. And that goes for laws against driving while intoxicated too. Having to call a taxi to get home after a hard night of drinking is expensive. So from now on I'm just going to weave my way home as best I can.
I can do this because individuals can now decide which laws they will obey and which ones they will not, as evidenced by the husband of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin:
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Todd Palin is refusing to testify in an abuse-of-power investigation into his wife, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
Palin had been subpoenaed to appear Friday before Alaska lawmakers to testify as to whether Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan was fired because he refused to dismiss a state trooper who had gone through a bitter divorce with Sarah Palin’s sister.
McCain-Palin spokesman Ed O’Callaghan said Thursday that Todd Palin no longer believes the Legislature’s investigation is legitimate.
So you might want to stay off the streets in Alabama because I might just run your ass over.
I'm also mulling whether to nullify laws that prevent me from robbing banks.
