In the history of the United States, voter fraud and intimidation was at many times thought to be motivated and carried out against many because of race, sex, age and even education disadvantages.

But in the current economic woes of the United States, class warfare may lead to the intimidation of today.

Let's take Radio Talk show host Todd Schnitt.  Host of afternoon show in the Tampa market from 3-6pm, this "hack" made an outrageous statement and possibly illegal admission during his show 18 September 2008.

Speaking as a self proclaimed "Non-Conservative Republican", Todd Schnitt stated after observing his personal trainer's support for BARRACK OBAMA for President, "You know if Obama wins and raises my taxes, I'm gonna have to let you go."  As to imply "why vote for Obama, you will lose your job with me because I won't be able to afford you.  Later during the segment, he again talked about the making the same statement to an young lady Radio Employee of his he saw wearing a Obama shirt.

Let's first look at what he is doing.  As an employee, is it right if your employer told you , HEY...IF SO & SO WINS, I MAY HAVE TO FIRE YOU...what if you don't vote for that guy & he still wins.  Are you gonna be out on the street.  Or even if you do vote for him & he loses, but your employer has already made it known that your support for the "other guy" is not looked upon favorably.  Do you really want to work for a "dick" ?

Let me be clear!!  AN EMPLOYER HAS THE RIGHT IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA TO EMPLOY WHOEVER THEY WANT.   But I also believe the "snide" suggestion of an employer can be destructive for both sides and may cause that relationship not to survive.

I have yet to find any actual law that was broken during Schnitt's show.  But I have sensed a tide in America where class warfare is brewing from this current election.  The Republicans are desperately trying to hold on to every penny they make...and to them I say, I don't blame you, HOLD TIGHT !!!!   The rest of us are trying to make a honest living and we also hate to see anyone taxed unfairly.  But c'mon man.  I bet both of Todd Schnitt's employees are getting their resumes updated because unlike the Schnitt's of the world, IT AINT ALWAYS ABOUT THE MONEY.

P.S.  Hey Schnitt, If your taxes go up, HIRE A BETTER TAX ACCOUNTANT !

19 Sept 2008
Schnitt tracked me down, called me and was kinda upset.  He feels I was unfair in my piece...we talked off air and I offered to go on air...Needless to say...he didn't call me back.   LOL
I still listen to your show buddy, but don't be mad at me.  I just tell it like it is !!!!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

Have you heard yet, your blog is all over local radio here in Tampa. Bubba (102.5) was talking about it earlier this morning, I have forwarded this email to all of the Tampa Bay ListServ's along with MJ's contact info, WFLZ's contact info, Clear Channel's contact info etc.

    Good post!

Yeah, I tuned in to his show about 45 minutes after he went on the air as he was bragging about his "investigative team" that found out your name and phone number. What a complete dunce... he was talking like he was a real bad ass... not realizing he's dealing with a world that is way over his head.

I'm sure he feels real empowered by reading his Fox News headlines over the air and trying to expand his vocabulary online to stump the left wing callers... smoke and mirrors.

I wanted to call into his show to explain to him exactly "why" thousands of people think he's a complete waste of organic matter... but honestly, it's not worth the cell minutes to argue with someone who's only "schtick" is to spin left wing comments and run around in circles with his one good reply.

F' him, at the end of the day, he is a hack radio persona who has a terrible AM radio show each afternoon. Such a sad pathetic little man.

    Keep up the word, man.
