With 74-25 vote, the US Senate finally agrees to the much expanded Bailout plan. Senators Dodd, Harry Reid from Dems and many ranking members of Reps Senators have given their supports to this measure that will have pivotal impacts on the US economy and financial sectors
It seems the House will have to approve the Bill this week after this Senate approval. The influence of Sen Obama and the Dems leadership in Congress will play a vital role in convincing the naysayers both among the Dems and Reps in the House.
One should keep in mind that the surge of Obama popularity in most nation wide polls suggests that he could become a major player in the next vote in the House. If Obama succeeds in infusing his political appeal to the House, I would predict that his Presidency is a matter of formality.
God Bless Obama!!
