In a single minute, a multitude of us can send a statement that we refuse to buy the bullshit. What we CAN do is make an installment payment on a brighter future for our battered country:
On Monday, October 6th, at 12:00 Noon Eastern Daylight Time, a coordinated money bomb is being executed directly to the Obama/Biden campaign.
The more of us who contribute, the more powerful our statement can be.
It's not about the size of the contribution. This time, it's about how many of us can step up and say, "No More!"
In one minute, we can and will change our country for the next
generation. Be a part of one moment by registering for "An Obama Minute"
at Noon on October 6, 2008. Join tens of thousands of people donating to
the Obama for President campaign at the same minute to raise over $1
million to kick off the final crucial month of the campaign. Give what
you can - small or large. Together, as one, our voices send a powerful
message that will be heard across the country and around the world.
You can also text to an
interactive billboard on Times Square through this link!
The math is simple:
$10 x 100,000 people = $1,000,000
$100 x 10,000 people = $1,000,000
$1000 x 1000 people = $1,000,000
On Monday, October 6th, you will receive an email with a link to an
exclusive donation page on the Obama '08 website that will allow you to
donate at Noon your local time. All donations - of any amount - will be
made directly to the campaign. Funding the campaign on the ground is more
important than ever before.
Spread the word as far and wide as you can. Send a personal message to
people you know. Help us make it viral. We can support you in your
efforts with press releases, printable posters and other materials.

In spite of all the objective evidence, the Republicans refuse to accept that their VP candidate is a fatally flawed, shallow, feckless politician without a shred of seriousness or intellectual curiosity.
McCain told supporters at a town-hall meeting in Pueblo, Colo.: "You know, I almost felt a little sorry last night for my old friend Joe Biden. She did a magnificent job." The GOP's presidential nominee drew cheers when he declared, "Viva la Barracuda!"
Palin's audience at National Review for last night's debate just got a flickering pulse in their gonads:
The McCain campaign desperately wants Americans to believe that Palin legitimized herself last night.
The best way to reply is to register here and contribute even the smallest amount at noon, October 6th!
If this is the only time you contribute to our flagbearer Presidential candidate, this is a great time to do so. Even the smallest amount counts. Then you're part of something bigger than yourself.
All of us have an investment in Barack Obama. More of us than ever before in history have made that investment in his campaign with our dollars. It began with his primary campaign, when Obama came out of relative obscurity and shocked the world.
Obama faces a Republican machine that has raised upwards of $300 Million to support the McCain/Palin ticket. In spite of the fact that McCain only has an $85M war chest for the general election, Obama is the one who has to spend a greater part of his valuable time fundraising for his campaign.
This thing is by no means over. An Obama minute has the potential to represent a booster shot of needed funds to keep Barack out on the campaign trail instead of the fundraising ballroom.
In a single minute, we can make a serious dent.
We cannot get complacent.
Please Contribute to The Obama Minute!
So let's get his back. Remember, we're done on Nov. 4th!
[***EDIT***]Go have a look at this diary, in which Obama meets a crippled African-American veteran at a rally in Pennsylvania!
