It had to happen.
With Joe the Plumber getting so much attention following last night’s debate, self-described "uncommitted voter" Jane the Hooker says she wants to be famous, too.
I ran into Jane as she was leaving the Wealthy Plumbers Association, held last night here in Los Angeles. Plumbers making over $250K (net) were the core audience – three of them – supplemented by plumbers who would like to make that much – 2,356 of them.
Jane was pressed for time, saying with a distinct grimmace that she needed to catch a plane. "I have to be in all the Battleground States before the election."
She looked to be in pain, so I inquired about that.
"I’m still recovering from back strain following the Republican convention," she said with a quick wince, "but I’ve got to help get the economy moving again."
Asked whom she was voting for, she replied, "I haven’t decided yet." I then pointed out the McCain-Palin sticker stuck to her backside. "Oh, that," she said dismissively, "I want to be on TV, but I’ll never get on Fox News with an Obama sticker."
Good luck, Jane, wherever you are.
