I know we're tired. It is the over-the-top-exhaustion time. It is the time when all us squeamish Dems start to quake and go into our conflict avoidance mode. Well, maybe I'm just projecting.
But, I really did find myself avoiding the news shows and looking for a fluff movie on cable, this morning!
So, I let myself watch the movie, but I also took myself into the kitchen to bake more brownies for an Ohio Obama Team to inspire myself to turn off the TV, get off the internet and go out where I can make a real difference, today.
To fight against anxiety producing lethargy, I also wrote up a realistic TO DO List for my frig and shared it with my Husband and son, to help hold me accountable.
My list and poll below the fold. If you're feeling like me, read my list and create your own to get your butt in Obama gear. Reply back your To Do list in a comment!
My final week, realistic I Pledge To Do List:
- Monday: 5 calls (my son has a band concert that night)
- Tuesday: 20 calls
- Watch Barack on TV with Mom and 3 of her wobbly friends.
- Thursday: 20 calls
- Friday: 10 calls - Our anniversary date - 17 years :)
- Saturday - signed up in Ohio for all day work for Obama
- Sunday - REST (Yes, I've planned a break to relax, do laundry, and recoup.)
- Monday - 30 calls
- Tuesday - signed up in Ohio for all day work and driving people and canvassing WHATEVER!!
Total calls = 85
