Heads up Colorado Democrats!
Although active registered Colorado Democrats have requested more mail ballots statewide than active Republicans, more Republican ballots have actually been returned so far.
Colorado Dems need to make sure they return their mail ballots. You know who you are!
Although the Dems have requested 21,755 more ballots than the GOP (as of Oct 23), the GOP voters have actually returned 2,481 more ballots than the Dems have.
These are not 'preliminary' stats since already this election one third of all mail ballots sent have been returned.
One third of the mail-in portion of the election is now over and the GOP is ahead in ballots returned.
Over 61% of all Colorado voters will vote using mail ballots this election so falling behind in returning your ballots is potentially a big deal.

If you have a mail ballot, get that thing returned NOW so your vote counts. Don't delay.
You do not have to mail it, there are various ballot drop-off locations in every county where you can personally deliver your ballot and drop it in a ballot box.
If you do mail in your ballot, make sure you affix enough postage.
If you requested a mail ballot but have not received it, call your County Clerk immediately since many mail ballots are getting lost.
You can also verify the status of your ballot here.

A bit of good news, CO Dems have cast over 6,000 more votes in person during early voting so far, so Democrats should be in good shape as long as we catch up with the mail ballots. But there are so many mail ballots out there that not returning all of them could be a negative factor if the election turns out to be close.
BTW - This is currently only being reported here and now on the DailyKos.
