The Huffington Post is reporting that a CNN was approached by the Obama campaign and declined their request for a 30 minute ad. "We did not want to pre-empt our programming lineup with a 30-minute spot. We rather use our air to continue to cover the campaign, candidates and issues like we always do from all points of view with the best political team on television, a spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter's James Hibberd.

CNN continues to pretend like they are a dignified news organization covering the news in an objective fashion while giving one hour of airtime to D. L. Hughley's filth.
At the risk of being repetitive, I again question CNN's editorial decisions and their possible motives.
I reiterate my concerns as posted in a recent diary:
D. L. Hughley's newly minted show on CNN... is just not funny. What would prompt CNN to put a black comedian on the air in the final week before the elections to make 'black' jokes about Barack Obama. Hasn't this country made blacks the butt of enough jokes?
Is this an attempt to trivialize a potential Obama presidency? Is this CNN's attempt to say what it didn't have the guts to say via the punditry, so they found a black comedian greedy enough to do its dirty work? CNN has had a long and illustrious position as a news organization. Why is it that in this election season, it has decided to turn into Showtime at the Apollo?
