New SUSA poll out for the PA 11th district shows Lou Barletta (R) beating Paul Kanjorski (D) 51-45, and shows Obama leading McCain in the same district, 53-43.
Though this is bad news for Kanjorski, I can't help but think that this is pretty decent news for Obama, as the 11th district encompasses Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Hazelton, and Berwick.
If Obama racks up a big margin in Philly and suburbs, and Pittsburgh city, and does +10 in the 11th district, he will win Pennsylvania no problem. We are doing what we can here in State College, turning out the vote in historically red Centre County.
The only - I mean ONLY - way Pennsylvania swings to McCain is if Larry Johnson drops the infamous Whitey Tape. We all know it's out there, the only question is when Johnson is going to drop it for maximum effect. I would have thought last Friday would have been a good time, but I'm just a simpleton and Larry Johnson is a CIA master tactician and eeeeevil genius!
UPDATE: Whitey Tape just dropped. Holy shit. This is for real now, folks. Keep turning out the vote. We must keep Pennsylvania blue, and let's hope that THIS VIDEO does not get a lot of play tonight on the network news!!
