Dear Howard,
Can I call you Howard? I want to thank you for your part in what is happening today, from the bottom of my bleeding heart. :-)
Try to forget about how bad you felt as you saw your chances slipping away the last time. Today you are a very big part of a very big day in American history.
Thank you Howard for that day in 2003 that you spoke to a crowd of us on Navy Pier in Chicago. I was there and I heard you.
Thank you Howard for speaking out against a war based on lies when it was unpopular to do so.
Thank you Howard fighting for the heart of our party at a time when it seemed lost in the wilderness.
Thank you Howard for standing tough in the battle for control of the DNC.
Thank you Howard for the 50-state strategy.
Thank you Howard for building the party everywhere in America.
Thank you Howard for paving the way for Barack Obama.
This is your day, too Howard.
Take a bow.
Sincerely,
(Kossacks, please join me in thanking Howard Dean! Sign below in the comments!)
