Colorado Springs based Focus on the Family is cutting 1/5th of its work force and four of it's eight publications.
Cuts are coming from marketing, human resources and finance. The operation is going to concentrate on the internet, rather than traditional publications.
I sure hope all those laid off appreciate that $500K that FoF spent passing proposition 8. You don't have a job, but look at the bright side, two people who love each other in a state hundreds of miles away now can't get married!
This comes on top of almost 50 jobs lost two months ago. And two years since 83 workers were laid off.
It's not just the money, either. Rallies for the nutty FoF Fuehrer James Dobson haven't turned out well either...
Californians Against Hate, termed the rally a "big bust." Organizers promised that more than 70,000 supporters would show up; the final tally was close to 10,000, he said.
But don't worry, Jimmy, there's still $350 Billion in federal bailout money out there and we know that FoF is "too big to fail." Keep pumping your money into the hate industry and we'll see you in 2010.
